JMP drops Nuvelo

Nuvelo Inc. was dropped from coverage by JMP Securities analyst Charles C. Duncan due to drug development programs outside the agency's current focus. The company's rating had been market perform. Shares of the San Carlos, Calif.-based diagnostic substances company were down 8 cents, or 0.50%, to $15.89 on volume of 515,935 shares versus the three-month running average of 973,179 shares.
