InVentiv Health signs multi-year sales team agreement with Novartis

Philadelphia, Aug. 8 - InVentiv Health, Inc. said Tuesday that it has signed a new sales team contract with Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp.

This multi-year agreement is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2006. Further details of the contract were not disclosed, according to a company news release.

InVentiv, based in Somerset, N.J., is a provider of commercialization and complementary services to the global pharmaceutical, life sciences and biotechnology industries.

Novartis is a Basel, Switzerland, pharmaceutical company.
