Northwestern Mutual names Hickey as Capital Guardian portfolio manager

Minneapolis, Nov. 14 - Northwestern Mutual Series Fund, Inc. announced that Mark Hickey has been named as a portfolio manager of Capital Guardian Trust Co. He replaces Terry Berkemeier, who will retire on Dec. 31.
Northwestern's Large Cap Blend Portfolio will now be managed by Hickey, who is vice president of Capital International Research, Inc., an affiliate of Capital Guardian, Theodore Samuels, director and president of Capital Guardian, Eric Stern, senior vice president of Capital Guardian, and Alan Wilson, director and senior vice president of Capital Guardian.
Hickey, the vice president of Capital International Research, Inc., has been employed by CGTC or an affiliate since 2001.
Northwestern Mutual is a Milwaukee, Wis.-based financial services company.
