Northern Institutional Funds lowers fees for some portfolios in 2012

San Diego, Oct. 26 - Northern Institutional Funds will increase the expense reimbursement it provides to some of its portfolios on Jan. 1, according to 497K filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The increase in expense reimbursement will have the effect of reducing the total annual fund operating expenses paid by investors and will be implemented until at least Dec. 31, 2012.

The investment adviser is Chicago-based Northern Trust Investments, Inc.
