S&P rates New York City G.O. bonds AA

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an AA rating with stable outlook to New York City's $550 million of fiscal 2008 series I general obligation bonds.

At the same time, S&P said it affirmed its AA rating and underlying rating with a stable outlook on the city's G.O. parity debt.
