Natixis U.S. Multi-Cap Equity Fund adds portfolio manager Schwartz

Minneapolis, March 19 - Natixis Funds Trust I announced that effective immediately, Jeffrey Schwartz has joined the portfolio management team of the Natixis U.S. Multi-Cap Equity Fund, according to a 497 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

He joins Philip C. Fine, Joseph R. Gatz and Aziz V. Hamzaogullari in managing the portion of the fund's assets allocated to subadviser Loomis, Sayles & Co., LP, of which he is responsible for the Small/Mid Core segment of the fund.

The vice president of Loomis Sayles since 2012, Schwartz was previously vice president and senior portfolio manager at Palisade Capital Management from 2001 until 2012. He began his investment career in 1992.

The filing also noted that during its most recently ended fiscal year, the fund's portfolio turnover rate was 97% of the average value of its portfolio. Previously, the rate was 79%.

The fund's investment adviser is Boston-based Natixis Asset Management Advisors, LP.
