National Semiconductor shareholder Relational Investors reports sale of shares

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 19 - National Semiconductor Corp. investors led by Relational Investors, LLC reduced their interest in the company to 12.63% with the sale of 4,069,165 shares.

According to a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the shares were sold between Dec. 15 and Dec. 18 at prices from $10.30 to $11.32 each.

The investors beneficially own 28,980,218 shares of the Santa Clara, Calif., semiconductor products company.
