Nassau County, N.Y., plans $270 million sale of TANs for Tuesday

New York, Nov. 12 - Nassau County, N.Y., is set to sell $270 million of series 2010 general obligation tax anticipation notes on Tuesday, according to a preliminary official statement.

The offering comprises $50 million of series 2010A notes, $120 million of series 2010B notes and $100 million of series 2010C notes.

The 2010A notes are due March 31, 2011; the 2010B notes are due Sept. 15, 2011; and the 2010C notes are due Oct. 15, 2011.

The notes (/SP-1+/F1+) will be sold competitively with Public Financial Management, Inc. as the financial adviser.

Proceeds will be used to meet a cash flow deficit anticipated during the period the notes are outstanding.
