Nanosphere director has 32.6% ownership interest

Charlotte, N.C., March 23 - A group of Nanosphere, Inc. shareholders led by Lurie Investment Fund, LLC, an affiliate of company director Mark Slezak, bought 164,764 shares of the company's stock between March 6 and March 16.

The shares were priced from $2.84 to $4.98 each, it was reported in a schedule 13D/A filed on Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Slezak beneficially owns 7,291,071 shares or 32.6% of the Northbrook, Ill., nanotechnology-based molecular diagnostics company.
