Renova Media ups offer for Moscow CableCom to $12.00 per share

Charlotte, N.C., Jan. 22 - Moscow CableCom Corp. received an increased acquisition offer for the company of $12.00, from $10.80 per share, from its largest shareholder, Renova Media Enterprises Ltd.

Renova, which holds 43.1% of Moscow CableCom's outstanding shares, made its original all-cash offer for Moscow CableCom on Nov. 4, according to a news release.

A special committee of Moscow CableCom is evaluating the offer.

Moscow CableCom, located in New York City, is the parent company of a Russian provider of pay-TV and internet services.
