Moneygram shareholder Blum Capital buys 1.17 million shares for 20.9% interest

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 8 - Moneygram International, Inc. investors led by Blum Capital Partners, LP bought 1,173,136 shares of the company's stock between Nov. 20 and Dec. 5, according to a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The shares were priced from $0.8992 to $0.9998 each.

In a prior SEC filing, Blum reported the purchase of 1,041,992 shares of the company's stock between Nov. 13 and Nov. 18.

Blum beneficially owns 17,229,571 shares, or 20.9%, of the Minneapolis-based payment services provider.
