Midas shareholder Silverstone sells shares, drops ownership to 6.5%
By Lisa Kerner
Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 3 - Silverstone Capital LLP sold 145,600 shares of Midas, Inc. between July 6 and July 30.
The shares were priced from $9.20 to $10.39 each, according to a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday.
In March Silverstone asked Midas to remove its poison pill or put the matter to a shareholder vote, a prior SEC filing said.
Silverstone beneficially owns 905,005 shares, or 6.5%, of the Itasca, Ill.-based retail automotive services company.
