MedQuist to review alternatives

Charlotte, N.C., July 11 - MedQuist Inc. retained Bear, Stearns & Co. to assist the company and its board in reviewing strategic alternatives.

There is no assurance that any transaction or change in strategic direction will occur as a result of the review, a company news release stated.

MedQuist is a medical transcription technology and services company based in Mt. Laurel, N.J.
