Carpe Diem will vote to approve Meadow Valley's going-private transaction

Charlotte, N.C., Oct. 14 - Meadow Valley Corp. shareholders led by Carpe Diem Capital Management LLC said they intend to vote all of their shares of common stock in favor of the company's merger with an affiliate of Insight Equity I LP, it was reported in a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

In July, the affiliate agreed to take Meadow Valley private for $11.25 per share in a transaction valued at $61.3 million, it was previously reported.

Carpe Diem beneficially owns 380,530 shares or 7.3% of the Phoenix construction materials company.
