Stilwell Partners owns 9.2% of Malvern Federal Bancorp

Charlotte, N.C., May 30 - Investors led by Stilwell Partners LP bought 570,000 shares of Malvern Federal Bancorp, Inc. for a total stake in the company of 9.2%.

The shares were purchased on May 20 and May 21 for $6,140,077, or an average share price of $10.77, according to a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Malvern Federal is the bank holding company for Malvern Federal Savings Bank located in Paoli, Pa.
