Moody's confirms LSP Energy

Moody's Investors Service said it confirmed the B2 senior secured debt rating of LSP Energy LP.

The outlook is stable.

Moody's said the rating action reflects the continued weak operating and financial performance at LSP Energy during 2003 due in part to forced outages at one of the three units at the plant and NRG Energy's decision to sell LSP Energy to Complete Energy Partners LLC for $26.5 million plus the assumption of the outstanding project debt.
