Longview Fibre $185 million notes talked at 10%-10¼%, pricing Thursday

St. Louis, Mo., Jan. 16 - Longview Fibre Co.'s $185 million of senior subordinated notes due 2009 are expected to come to market at a yield of 10%-10¼% according to price talk that came out Wednesday, a syndicate source told Prospect News.

The deal is set to price late in the day Thursday, the source added.

Banc of America Securities is running the books on the Rule 144A offering. Scotia Capital, Wells Fargo and US Bancorp Piper Jaffray are also in the syndicate.

The notes are non-callable for four years.
