American Software's tender offer for Logility extended to Thursday

By Lisa Kerner

Charlotte, N.C., June 22 - American Software, Inc. extended its tender offer to acquire all of the outstanding common stock of Logility, Inc. to midnight ET on Thursday from Monday.

According to American Software, the extension gives shareholders additional time to review disclosure updates filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday in response to comments from the SEC.

Approximately 685,000 shares of Logility common stock have been tendered and not withdrawn in the tender offer that began in May.

As previously reported, American Software, with an 88% equity interest in Logility, had increased its offer for Logility to $7.02 from $5.10 per share.

Logility is a supply chain management solutions provider.

American Software develops, markets and supports integrated business applications, including supply chain management, internet commerce, financial, warehouse management and manufacturing packages.

Both companies are located in Atlanta.
