Quantum Energy reports 4.5% stake in Linn Energy

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 3 - Investors led by Quantum Energy Partners II, LP bought 465,313 units of Linn Energy, LLC stock between Oct. 23 and Nov. 30.

The units were priced between $26.80 and $29.98 each, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The reporting persons beneficially own 5,059,272 units, or 4.5%, of the Houston-based independent oil and gas company.
