Lincoln National markets new senior notes via five bookrunners

Tupelo, Miss., Aug. 12 – Lincoln National Corp. intends to price new dollar-denominated fixed-rate senior notes, according to a 424B5 filed Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

J.P. Morgan Securities, LLC, Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, BNP Paribas Securities Corp., HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. and BofA Securities, Inc. are the bookrunners.

The notes have make-whole and par calls.

Proceeds will be used to fund a tender offer for outstanding notes and for general corporate purposes.

Lincoln National is a Radnor, Pa.-based holding company for insurance and retirement subsidiaries.
