Fitch affirms Lincoln National

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed Lincoln National Corp.'s long-term issuer default rating at A- and the insurer financial strength ratings of its insurance operating subsidiaries at A+.

The outlook is stable.

Fitch said that its rating actions reflect Lincoln National's good overall operating performance, solid risk-adjusted capitalization, strong competitive position, diverse distribution network and capable management team.
