Chicago, July 27 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $3.71 million of 0% barrier booster notes due July 29, 2022 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index gains by more than 49.15%, the payout at maturity will be par plus the return.
If the index gains by up to 49.15%, the payout will be par plus the booster coupon of 49.15%.
If the index falls by up to 30%, the payout will be par.
If the index finishes below the 70% barrier level, investors will be fully exposed to any losses.
