Laudus Small-Cap, International MarketMasters funds alter management

San Diego, Dec. 19 - Schwab Capital Trust announced that Laudus Small-Cap MarketMasters Fund has terminated two of its investment managers and approved a new one, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The new manager will be San Francisco-based Mellon Capital Management Corp., who joins existing investment managers Neuberger Berman Management LLC and Tamro Partners LLC.

TCW Investment Management Co. and Toqueville Asset Management LP are no longer investment advisers to the fund.

The filing said that Mellon Capital has also been added as an investment manager to the Laudus International MarketMasters Fund. Besides Mellon, the fund has five investment advisers: American Century Investment Management, Inc., Wentworth, Hauser, and Violich, Inc./Hirayama Investments, LLC, Harris Associates LP, William Blair & Co., LLC and Mondrian Investment Partners Ltd.
