Latam Airlines Group posts $242.95 million operating loss for December

Olympia, Wash., Feb. 10 – Latam Airlines Group reported a $242.95 million loss from operations for December on $453.9 million in total operating revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The net loss for the period was $603.93 million.

The company had $1.63 billion in cash and cash equivalents as of Dec. 31.

Latam is a Santiago, Chile-based airline. The company filed bankruptcy on May 25, 2020 under Chapter 11 case number 20-11254.
