Ramius buys 2.03 million shares of iPass for 5.1% ownership interest

Charlotte, N.C., April 17 - iPass Inc. investors led by Ramius Value and Opportunity Master Fund Ltd. bought 2,032,801 shares of the company's stock between Feb. 10 and April 8 priced from $0.90 to $1.17 each.

The transactions were reported in a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday.

Ramius beneficially owns 3,106,407 shares, or 5.1%, of iPass.

iPass is a Redwood Shores, Calif.-based provider of software-enabled enterprise connectivity for remote and mobile workers.
