Interstate Bakeries posts $559,621 negative EBITDA for four weeks ended Feb. 10

Pittsburgh, March 27 - Interstate Bakeries Corp. reported EBITDA of negative $559,621 for the four weeks ended Feb. 10 on revenues of $111.91 million, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The figures show improvement over a $1.14 million negative EBITDA for the four weeks ended Jan. 13 on $103.6 million in revenues.

The net loss for the month ended Feb. 10 was $12.83 million, up slightly from a $12.19 million net loss the month before.

Cash on Feb. 10 was $80.03 million, compared with $81.65 million on Jan. 13.

The Kansas City, Mo., bakery operator filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 22, 2004 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Missouri. Its Chapter 11 case number is 04-45814.
