Argentina's Grupo Financiero Galicia board OKs $100 million notes

San Luis Obispo, Calif., March 1 - Grupo Financiero Galicia SA board of directors approved on Feb. 27 an increase in the company's existing global notes program by $40 million to $100 million, according to a company notice.

As previously reported, the board authorized on Aug. 2, 2012 the issuance of $60 million of class III notes.

Issuances made under the program may be denominated in dollars or any other currency.

The notes will be issued within the framework of the Buenos Aires-based financial services holding company's global program of simple, short, mid- and/or long-term non-convertible notes.
