Aeromexico files plan of reorganization; disclosure hearing on Oct. 21

Chicago, Oct. 1 – Grupo Aeromexico, SAB de CV announced that it filed its joint plan of reorganization on Friday, according to a press release.

The company expects to file one or more supplements to the plan on the schedule in the plan or as otherwise ordered by the court.

A hearing to approve the disclosure statement is scheduled for Oct. 21.

After approval of the disclosure statement, the company will begin the process of solciting votes.

Grupo Aeromexico, a holding company for commercial aviation, is based in Mexico City. The company filed Chapter 11 on June 30, 2020 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York under case number 20-11563.
