Gamco reports 28.84% ownership interest in Griffin Land & Nurseries

Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 3 - Griffin Land & Nurseries, Inc. investors led by Gamco Investors, Inc. bought 23,145 shares of the company's stock between July 3 and Aug. 20 at prices from $32.00 to $33.82 each.

The reporting persons own 1,450,020 shares, or 28.84%, of the New York-based landscape nursery operator, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
