SMC Global Power to redeem 6½% senior perpetuals on April 25

Lexington, Ky., March 11 – SMC Global Power Holdings Corp. will redeem all the outstanding securities of its $800 million 6½% senior perpetual capital securities issued on April 25, 2019 (ISIN: XS1896598908), according to a notice.

The $783,164,000 in principal will be redeemed at par on the step up date of April 25, which is also the first optional redemption date, plus any accrued distributions up to, but excluding, the redemption date.

The redeemed securities will be canceled and delisted.

SMC Global Power Holdings is owned by San Miguel Corp., a beverage, food and packaging company based in Manila.
