QBE calls $399.95 million 7.5% subordinated notes due 2043

Lexington, Ky., Oct. 17 – QBE Insurance Group Ltd. announced it will redeem for cash all $399,954,000 of its 7.5% subordinated notes due 2043 (ISIN: US74737EAA29, US74737DAA46).
The Rule 144A and Regulation S notes will be redeemed on Nov. 24 for their face value plus accrued interest to the early redemption date, according to a notice.
Bank of New York Mellon is the paying agent.
The notes were initially sold under the group’s $4 billion medium-term note program in October 2016.
The insurer is based in Sydney, Australia.
