Landsbankinn holders sell ISK 3 billion covered bonds in exchange offer

Los Angeles, Oct. 12 – Landsbankinn hf. announced results of its series LBANK CB 23 covered bond exchange offer.
As announced on Monday, holders of the LBANK CB 23 bonds could sell their bonds against series LBANK CB 27 and LBANK CB 29 covered bonds at a predefined clean price of 99.61. The two non-indexed series were offered for sale at an auction held on Wednesday.
The covered bond exchange offer resulted in Landsbankinn buying ISK 3 billion of the series LBANK CB 23 bonds, according to a Thursday press release.
Settlement will take place on Oct. 18.
The bank is based in Reykjavik, Iceland.
