Colombia’s Ecopetrol will redeem notes due September in August

Chicago, July 8 – Ecopetrol SA will prepay its notes maturing in September on Aug. 7, according to a press release.

The company will redeem the $821.5 million outstanding 5 7/8% notes (Cusip: 279158AC3) at $1,000.18 per $1,000 note, plus accrued interest.

Ecopetrol is a Bogota-based petroleum company in Colombia with international drilling and exploration operations in the United States, Brazil and Mexico.
