EDF reports 99.97% of Oceanes owned by French state after tender

Columbus, Ohio, May 23 – EDF SA announced that the French state will own 130,829,543, or 99.97%, of the outstanding convertible notes in the Oceanes structure following the reopening of a public tender offer from May 4 through May 17.

The French state will also own 3,908,590,275 EDF shares, representing 97.69% of the share capital and at least 98.04% of the voting rights of EDF, according to a press release.

Based in Paris, EDF is an integrated energy company active in generation, transmission, distribution, energy trading, energy sales and energy services.
