Lansforsakringar Bank to redeem SEK 1.1 billion of subordinated notes

Lexington, Ky., Feb. 3 – Lansforsakringar Bank AB will redeem two tranches of subordinated tier 2 notes totaling SEK 1.1 billion on the optional redemption date of March 1, according to two notices.

The two tranches to be redeemed are the bank’s SEK 700 million subordinated tier 2 notes (ISIN: XS1783217067) and its SEK 400 million subordinated tier 2 notes (ISIN: XS1783217224).

Both tranches of notes were originally issued on March 1, 2018 with a maturity date falling on or nearest to the interest payment date in March 2028.

The issuer is the fifth largest Swedish bank and is based in Stockholm.
