Colombia will accept $918.58 million of bonds from brief tender offer
Chicago, Nov. 29 – Colombia announced the final results of its one-day tender offer for three of its global bonds on Tuesday evening, according to a press release.
The tender offer was related to an offering of new notes. Existing noteholders were able to tender their old notes for new notes, as reinvestment tenders.
The tender period ran from 8:30 a.m. ET on Monday to 12:30 p.m. ET on Monday for simple tenders and an extra two hours for reinvestment tenders.
Colombia is accepting all of the tendered notes, detailed as the following:
• $317,517,993 accepted from $46,625,000 reinvestment tenders and $272,649,000 simple tenders for the $1 billion outstanding 2 5/8% global bonds due 2023 (Cusip: P3772NHK1) for $994.50 per note;
• $371,981,904 accepted from $95.21 million reinvestment tenders and $285,919,000 simple tenders for the $1,566,262,000 outstanding 4% global bonds due 2024 (Cusip: 195325BQ7) for $976.00 per note; and
• $224,389,902 accepted from the $119,321,000 reinvestment tenders and $98,851,000 simple tenders for the $1 billion outstanding 8 1/8% global bonds due 2024 (Cusip: 195325BD6) for $1,028.50 per note.
Settlement is expected to occur on Dec. 5.
