First Quantum Minerals to redeem 7¼% notes due 2023 on June 7

Concord, N.H., May 27 – First Quantum Minerals Ltd. issued a notice of redemption for $500 million of its outstanding 7¼% senior notes due April 2023 (Cusip: 335934AK1, C3535CAF5), according to a company news release on Friday.

The notes will be redeemed on June 7 at a redemption price of par plus accrued interest up to but excluding the redemption date.

The copper producer is based in Vancouver, B.C.
