HSBC Holdings to redeem S$1 billion 4.7% CoCo securities June 8

Lexington, Ky., May 5 – HSBC Holdings plc will redeem all outstanding S$1 billion 4.7% perpetual subordinated contingent convertible securities (ISIN: XS1624509300) on the resettable securities’ interest payment date of June 8, according to a notice.

The securities will be redeemed at S$250,000 per calculation amount plus accrued interest from the previous resettable interest payment date of Dec. 8 to but not including the redemption date.

HSBC is a London-based bank.
