Gabon asks noteholders to tender up to $750 million from two series

Chicago, Nov. 12 – The Gabonese Republic launched a tender offer to buy up to $750 million of notes from two series, according to an announcement.

The republic is offering to buy notes from the $736 million outstanding 6 3/8% amortizing notes due 2024 (ISINs: XS1003557870, US362420AB78) and the $700 million outstanding 6.95% notes due 2025 (ISINs: XS1245960684, ISIN: US362420AC51).

The 2024 notes will be accepted before the 2025 notes.

The republic is offering $1,073.75 per $1,000 2024 note and $1,086.25 per $1,000 2025 note. Accrued interest will also be paid.

The maximum acceptance amount of $750 million includes accrued interest.

The tender offer is subject to a new financing condition. The republic announced its intention to issue new dollar-denominated notes.

Noteholders who wish to subscribe to the new issue should contact the dealer managers and obtain a priority allocation option code. Priority in the allocation of the new notes may be given to tendering noteholders.

Tenders may be prorated.

The expiration deadline is 5 p.m. ET on Nov. 16.

Settlement is planned for Nov. 24.
