China’s Chalco calls all $500 million senior perpetual securities

Lexington, Ky., Oct. 7 – Chalco Hong Kong Investment Co. Ltd. has announced it will fully redeem all $500 million senior perpetual capital securities on Nov. 7, according to a notice.
The securities will be redeemed at the principal amount plus any distribution to the call date.
The Regulation S securities are guaranteed by Chalco Hong Kong Ltd. with the benefit of a keepwell deed from parent company Chalco Aluminum Corp. of China Ltd.
After the redemption, Chalco will apply to the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Ltd. for the delisting of the securities.
Chalco is a Beijing-based metals manufacturer.
