Rwanda announces tender offer results for 6 5/8% notes due 2023

Chicago, Aug. 3 – Rwanda announced the results of its tender offer for any and all of its outstanding $400 million 6 5/8% notes due 2023 (ISINs: XS0925613217, US78347YAA10), according to a notice.

The offer, which started July 26, expired at 5 p.m. ET on July 30.

The republic received tenders for $339,435,000 of the notes, all of which will be accepted for purchase.

Rwanda is paying $1,077.50 per $1,000 note, plus accrued interest.

Settlement is planned for Aug. 10.

The $60,565,000 of the notes not tendered will remain outstanding.

The offer was contingent on an offering of new notes, which priced on Monday.
