Star Bulk plans to redeem all $50 million of 8.3% notes due 2022

Columbus, Ohio, June 23 – Star Bulk Carriers Corp. will redeem all its $50 million of outstanding 8.3% senior notes due 2022 (Cusip: Y8162K303), according to a news release.

The notes will be redeemed on July 30 at a redemption price equal to par plus accrued interest.

The redemption will be funded by proceeds of refinancing existing senior secured facilities.

U.S. Bank NA will be providing notice of the redemption to noteholders.

Star Bulk is an Athens-based provider of transportation services for the dry bulk goods sector.
