Brazil’s Light to redeem all of its 7¼% notes due 2023

Concord, N.H., June 22 – Light Servicios de Electricidade SA and Light Energia SA will redeem all $390 million outstanding of its 7¼% notes units due 2023 (Cusips: P62763AA8, 53227QAA6), and the underlying senior notes issued by Light SESA and underlying senior notes issued by Light Energia, according to a company news release on Monday.

The notes units and underlying notes will be redeemed on July 21 at 103.625 plus accrued and unpaid interest.

The holding company involved primarily in the utilities sector is based in Rio de Janeiro.
