Sweden’s Vattenfall provides final tender results for two series

Chicago, May 25 – Vattenfall AB announced the final results of its tender offers for two series of notes in a press release on Tuesday.

The company is accepting all SEK 2,837,290,000 of the notes tendered for both series.

Specifically, Vattenfall is accepting for purchase SEK 1,023,490,000 of the SEK 3 billion outstanding fixed-rate capital securities with a first call date of March 19, 2022. The company is purchasing the notes at 102.16.

And, the company is accepting for purchase SEK 1,813,800,000 of the SEK 3 billion outstanding floating-rate capital securities with a first call date on March 21, 2022. The company is paying 101.52.

The offer started as an any-and-all offer. The offer had been amended to state that there would be a cap, equal to the amount of new capital securities issued by the company. Ultimately, though, the company accepted all tendered notes for purchase.

The offer had been extended to 11 a.m. ET on May 24. The original expiration time was 11 a.m. ET on May 20.

Tenders could have been prorated, but there will be no scaling.

Settlement is planned for May 26.
