Societe Generale gets OK to add call option to floaters issued in 1985

Columbus, Ohio, April 29 – Societe Generale said holders of its €61,906,801 outstanding of its €348 million of undated deeply subordinated floating-rate notes (ISIN: FR0000585564) approved modifying the terms of the notes to add an option for the issuer to call the notes at par plus accrued interest from anytime starting July 1, according to a news release.
The issuer will pay holders a resolution fee of 5 basis points on or around July 1.
The notes were issued in June 1985.
Societe Generale is a Paris-based banking and financial services company.
