Renewable Energy to redeem all $31.4 million 4% convertibles due 2036

Columbus, Ohio, April 12 – Renewable Energy Group, Inc. will redeem all of its outstanding 4% convertible senior notes due 2036 (Cusip: 75972AAC7) on June 15 at par, according to a news release.

Interest will be paid in the usual manner on the redemption date, which is also an interest payment date.

As of April 11, there were $31.4 million of the notes outstanding. They may be converted at any time prior to 5 p.m. ET on June 11. The current conversion rate is 92.8074 shares of Renewable common stock per $1,000 principal amount.

Ames, Iowa-based Renewable Energy is a biodiesel producer.
