Radius Health to repurchase $112.2 million 3% convertibles at discount

Columbus, Ohio, March 3 – Radius Health Inc. plans to repurchase $112.2 million of its 3% convertible senior notes due Sept. 1, 2024 for a total purchase price of $105.7 million, according to a news release.
The purchase price is a discount of 6% to the face value of the convertibles, and the total amount to be repurchased is about 37% of the outstanding principal amount.
The repurchase is expected to close on March 18.
Radius is a Waltham, Mass.-based biopharmaceutical company.
