Santander UK to redeem all £175 million 6.984% Topics on Feb. 9

Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 28 – Santander UK plc plans to redeem all of its outstanding £175 million 6.984% fixed/floating-rate tier preferred income capital securities or “Topics,” according to a filing with the London Stock Exchange.

The securities will be redeemed at par plus any outstanding payments on Feb. 9.

Bank of New York Mellon is the paying agent.

The financial services company is based in London.
