American Water to prepay $138.39 million of 5.62% notes due 2018

Minneapolis, Aug. 15 – American Water Capital Corp. plans to prepay $138.39 million of its 5.62% series C senior notes due Dec. 21, 2018, according to a notice.

The notes will be redeemed at par plus a make-whole amount and accrued interest on Sept. 13.

U.S. Bank NA is the paying agent.

The investor-owned water and wastewater utility is based in Voorhees, N.J.
