Energi Danmark tenders for DKK 500 million notes due 2017 via Nordea

By Susanna Moon

Chicago, June 9 – Nordea Bank AB (publ) is tendering for a capped amount of the DKK 500 million of floating-rate notes due June 26, 2017 issued by Energi Danmark A/S.

The purchase price will be 100.024% for each DKK 1 million principal amount plus accrued interest up to but excluding the settlement date of June 22.

The tender offer will remain open until 6 a.m. ET on June 15.

Energi Danmark plans to price new three-year floating-rate notes “in the near future,” according to an announcement by Nordea.

The tender offer will be capped based on the new issue size.

Holders who tender their notes in the offer may receive a priority in the allocation of new notes, Nordea said.

“The tender offer is being made as part of the issuer's commitment to active management of its balance sheet,” the release noted. “The purpose of the tender offer is to proactively manage the issuer's upcoming redemptions, to lengthen and diversify its debt maturity profile and to allow current holders to roll their current position into the new notes.”

The dealer manager is Nordea Bank AB (publ) (www.nordealiabilitymanagement@nordea.com).

Energi supplies electricity and trades oil and gas products in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Germany. The company is based in Aarhus, Denmark.
